A dimensional quilt, is the answer to Milford Valley Quilt Guild challenge "Things With Wings". The fairy looks closely at the caterpillar, contemplating from where she came. Suede cloth flowers and "fantasy fabric". Fantasy Fabric as a background |
Contemplation II: Midnight Rendezvous This quilt continues the theme of contemplating from where we come. She sits with her cat friend gazing at the stars. Aren't we all just star stuff anyway? In the sky are the constellations of Libra and Scorpio - a nice mix of balance and determination (and actually my husband and my signs). |
This very artsy quilt incorporates some wonderful fabrics, Tintzl, and metallic threads, trapped under a layer of tulle.Fantasy Fabric simply framed and enjoyed as is. |

This quilt uses fantasy fabrics throughout the piece - appliqued circles, background, borders, and binding. |
While working on this quilt I found out I was the recipient of the Jewel Pearce Patterson Scholarship Award. This scholarship paid my way to Austria to take classes at the International Quilt Expo. Thus the name - How Sweet It Is. Fantasy Fabric has been cut apart and pieced into this design. |
